The Decaf Project X Swiss Water
We’re proud to have been invited to be part of the unique global coffee tasting called The Decaf Project, led by coffee expert James Hoffmann. Comparing three popular decaffeination methods, the project is a celebration of decaf, and aims to provide the first ever widespread compare & contrast tasting of different decaffeination methods, process by process. James and his team asked us to decaffeinate a coffee of their choosing for a side-by-side tasting against two other processes used for decaffeination.
The Swiss Water® Process uniquely uses only time, temperature, water, and the natural extract of green (unroasted) coffee itself to gently remove caffeine particles from coffee through the process of diffusion, and is certified organic.
