These selections deliver consistent quality with unwavering reliability. Core coffees that form the backbone of our portfolio, always available to provide roasters with a dependable foundation for year-round offerings.

Brazil 2/3 SSFC
Brazilians consume a fantastic amount of coffee—close to 20 million bags a year and growing— second only to the US. We select coffees based on the cup profile—nutty, mild, and sweet with a rich body and the grade of Strictly Soft Fine Cup (SSFC). This offering is solid on its own and also versatile in blends, as an espresso component, or for flavoring. The lots we buy do not have regional specificity and are available in either 14/16 or 17/18 screen sizes.
Colombia EP
The list of registered coffee exporters in Colombia numbers well over 300. We’ve narrowed our partners down to a select group of very experienced, quality-focused shippers who understand what we expect, and they deliver! Our Colombian offerings shoot for a good body, balanced acidity, and a sweet, rich finish with notes of walnut and caramel. As is common with Colombian coffees, the lots we buy are blends of smallholder farmers and do not have regional specificity. This coffee is available in either Excelso or Supremo screen sizes.
Colombia Excelso EP Rainforest Alliance Certified
This offering often comes from the many of the same sources as our conventional Colombia Excelso EP, but comes with everything behind the Rainforest Alliance Certification. In the cup we look for good body, balanced acidity, and a rich, sweet, lingering finish. These coffees have traceability to their cooperatives and come from organizations such as Cafisur and Cadefihuila.
Costa Rica SHB EP
Costa Rica is the coffee we conjure up when we close our eyes and think of coffee. It doesn’t swing to wild Ethiopia-like floral notes, isn’t dramatically acidic like a top Kenya, and it won’t coat your tongue in velvet like Sumatra. Costa Rica is coffee incarnate: a smooth body balanced with supportive acidity and sweetness upfront. Our Costa Rica SHB offering is a blend of smallholder farmers and do not have regional specificity.
Ethiopia Sidamo Grade 2 (Washed) and Grade 4 (Natural)
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee cultivation, home to myriad landrace varieties and plenty of coffee legend. This origin is known for two radically different flavor profiles: vivid natural coffees, with their berries, chocolate, and fresh bread notes, and also delicate washed coffees, with notes of citrus and black tea. We offer two grades of Ethiopian coffees: Sidamo Grade 2 (washed process) and an Ethiopia Sidamo Grade 4 (natural process) which hit both of these classic profiles. The lots we buy are blends of smallholder farmers.
Guatemala Primavera SHB EP
We're pleased to offer a farm-traceable Guatemalan coffee from the the Delgado family of San Juan Sacatepéquez. Farmed with a focus both on tradition and sustainability, this offering has notes of dark chocolate, Mandarin orange, and brown sugar. We offer 17/18 Strictly Soft Fine Cup(SSFC)...
Honduras Organic HG EP
Moderate body and acidity, clean and sweet—our Organic Honduras deliciously handles a range of roasts. As is common with many Honduran coffees, the lots we buy are blends from smallholder farmers and do not have regional specificity.
Mexico Organic HG EP
Typica, Caturra, and Bourbon predominate the varieties showcased here, primarily sourced from Chiapas and Veracruz. This is a floral, citrusy, happy coffee. As is common with many Mexican coffees, these lots are blends from smallholder farmers and do not have regional specificity.
Mexico FTO HG EP
With a lively profile and composition similar to our Mexico Organic HG EP, our Fairtrade Organic Mexican coffees have traceability to their cooperatives and come from organizations such as FEDESI and Yaxcoffee.
Peru Organic Grade 1
Long known for organic coffee production, this coffee has a comforting cup profile with deep flavor with moderate acidity, with cocoa aroma and almond in the finish. These coffees have traceability to their cooperatives and come from organizations such as JUMARP and Cenfrocafe.
Peru Fairtrade Organic Grade 1
Peru was the first coffee origin that adopted Fairtrade practices on a large scale. This offering comes from many of the same sources as our Peru Organic and has a similar cup profile. These coffees have traceability to their cooperatives and come primarily from cooperatives in Cajamarca.
Sumatra Mandheling Grade 1 DP
The word Mandheling refers to a traditional ethnic group (also spelled Mandailing) in northern Sumatra, and the name has come to represent a high quality cup profile made of Arabica coffee. As is common with Sumatran coffees, the lots for our Sumatra Mandheling Grade 1 double-pick (DP) come from smallholder farmers from across northern Sumatra. We look for a cup profile that is rich and earthy with a deep, syrupy body and herbal notes.
Sumatra FTO Mandheling Grade 1 DP
We look for a similar cup profile in this offering as we do in our conventional Sumatra Mandheling, but this coffee comes with everything behind the Fairtrade and Organic certifications. The majority of the Fairtrade-certified cooperatives we source from are in the Aceh region. These coffees have traceability to their cooperatives and come from organizations such as KSU Gayo Highland and CV Gayo Mandiri.
Cascadia Blend
This blend is a switch-hitter, working well for both filter and espresso brewing. It is a blend of washed coffee from Latin America, wet-hulled coffee from Indonesia, and natural coffee from Ethiopia. Brewing Cascadia Blend as drip coffee? Look for herbal notes and dark chocolate. Using Cascadia Blend as espresso? You get citrus and cherry, plus those herbal notes present in filter brewing.
Swiss Water® Espresso Blend
With our Espresso Blend, you get coffee that shows balance, depth and liveliness at a range of roasts. Brazil on rhythm guitar, washed Latins playing lead, Indonesia/Asia on bass, and a dose of exotic naturals playing tambourine. The tasty result: chocolate and caramel flavors with a touch of natural fruit, just enough acidity to provide a balance of sparkle, and sweetness riding along, smooth finish. You’ll pull shots with enough depth and sustaining crema you’ll be surprised it’s decaf. Amaze your friends!
