We’re pleased to offer this Colombian coffee with expanded traceability from the Los Arrayanes Coffee Growers Association.

The Los Arrayanes Coffee Growers Association (Asociación de Caficultores Los Arrayanes) is a 99-member group in the villages of Pitalito, Palestina, Acevedo, Isnos, and San Augustín, Huila, Colombia. Through our partnership with Integra Trading, we are delighted to showcase the work of this association which focuses on quality and sustainability.

Named for one of the first coffee stations in the region, Arrayanes, purchased by an association member’s father five decades ago, the Los Arrayanes association carries on the spirit of generational tradition of passion and dedication to coffee farming while evolving to constantly improve. Starting from the advantageous altitudes, soil, shade, and climate of Colombia’s storied Huila region, the cooperative has added sustainability and quality measures like densimetric sorting, solar panels, and composting. This coffee is also part of a unique-to-Colombia drying method led by Integra, which helps producers in this area sell their coffee pre-drying phase and dry coffees on the Integra patio, allowing faster inventory flow and better drying consistency—thus improving quality and revenue.

Honoring farmers is among the key Los Arrayanes values, promoting direct interaction between buyers and growers to build respect for the importance of farm labor. The group also works to foster gender equity and offers increased training to women within the group in areas like quality and management, seeking to strengthen their leadership roles within the industry.

In the cup, we find a classically floral, balanced Colombian profile with notes of honeyed tea, berries, and citrus.
