Video Education Series: Unlocking the Moisture Mystery

We love sharing our expertise on all things decaf coffee almost as much as we love drinking it. And we're proud to have produced a brand new educational video series on everything behind the decaf scenes. We made these videos for everybody: whether you love to drink decaf all day long but don't work in the coffee business, or whether you're a coffee roaster, café operator, or restaurant owner who wants to learn exactly how the Swiss Water® Process works—and how to bring the absolute best out of your decaf. If you haven't binge-watched the series yet, check out the full set of videos here, or watch them individually: "Decaf is Coffee", "Brewing Decaf Coffee", "Roasting Decaf Coffee", "What is Green Coffee Extract?" and "Carbon! The Second Secret to Our Success".

This sixth and final video delves into the unique properties of moisture in unroasted decaffeinated coffee. It's called "Unlocking the Moisture Mystery" and it explains why a moisture meter may measure decaf coffee differently than coffee that still contains caffeine.

We truly hope you enjoyed these videos as much as we enjoyed making them! And remember, if you're someone who serves Swiss Water, check out our Education and Support Program for more ongoing guidance in how we can help you make the most of the decaf you roast and serve.
