We’re pleased to offer a new traceable coffee with a classic Guatemalan flavor profile from Finca Altamira.

Through our relationship with Walker Coffee, we’re pleased to share a new coffee as part of our year-round portfolio of Guatemalan offerings. The Agropecuaria Las Elviras group has grown coffee for more than 25 years, focusing on quality and classic Guatemalan flavor profiles. In recent years the group has planted Sarchimor variety alongside its Caturra and Catuaí plants in order to provide a more disease- and rust-resistant backbone to their crops. 

Las Elviras operates in the Suchitepéquez department of Guatemala just southwest of Lake Atitlan, a body of water flanked by three volcanoes. The nutrient-rich volcanic soils of this area provide a wonderful place to grow coffees like this, with bright citrus notes that balance beautifully with chocolate undertones and an intriguing spice complexity.
