Peru Tapir Red Honey
Seattle's Kuma Coffee works directly with Swiss Water to source fresh and exciting offerings throughout the year, like this Small Batch Series offering from Peru's San Ignacio region. Its name pays tribute to its processing method, Red Honey, wherein some pulp is left around the coffee seed during fermentation to bring out a vibrant, fruity quality. The name also references the lands on which the coffee is grown—an environmentally protected, biodiverse zone in which animals like tapirs thrive.
In the cup, look for raspberry acidity, deep sweetness, and a cherry cola vibe.
